Welcome! We're glad you're here!
The Student Government Association (SGA) exists to “provide a voice for the student body, encourage unity and fellowship, ensure a comfortable learning environment, and promote awareness of BBC.” As SGA members, students are given the important responsibility to foster an atmosphere that builds community amongst students and encourages all BBC affiliates to have “unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind” (1 Pt. 3:8). To accomplish that purpose, the SGA typically plans and hosts at least one event every semester.
All students past and present are eligible for membership with offices and control limited to the present active student body. Officers are elected annually in October, and must be enrolled in two courses in order to be eligible for election. The SGA meets a minimum of once a quarter. If you are a student, past student, or alumni, you are welcome to attend the next meeting. For more information about the SGA, contact the school administration by phone at (314)773-0083, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
