The administration of Brookes Bible College is pleased to announce the school has been awarded Accreditation by the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE).
Obtaining accreditation with ABHE is typically a five-year process and has three phases: the applicant stage, candidate status, and initial accreditation. BBC administrators completed a self-study, hosted a site team visit, and worked to make improvements to the school in response to the site team’s recommendations. For the final step President Robert Thurman, Academic Dean Dr. Allan Henderson, and Board Chair Dr. James Clark appeared before the commission and received their decision to award accreditation Tuesday, February 20, 2018. ABHE is a national accreditation organization recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). With over 200 member schools in the United States and Canada, ABHE exists “to enhance the quality and credibility of postsecondary educational institutions that distinctively engage students in biblical, transformational, experiential, and missional higher education.”
