Mrs. Milligan has served Brookes Bible College for 6 years – 2010-2014 and 2017 to present. She is responsible for all aspects of the library and information resources including classroom and individual instruction.
Prior to joining BBC, Mrs. Milligan (using the name of Ms. :) served in secular settings in private and public social services in Texas, Ohio and Missouri in increasingly responsible positions. She retired in 2009 from Provident, a St. Louis-based behavioral health organization, after 20 years of service. Earning a degree in information science prepared Mrs. Milligan for an “encore career” as a librarian. In additional to her work at BBC, she served as a reference librarian at St. Louis Community College – Florissant Valley. Her volunteer work has included the Archives at Eden Theological Seminary and the St. Louis Genealogical Society. Kathleen and her husband, David Milligan, married late in life. They met at Clayton Community Church, then joined Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church in Webster Groves. She is now a widow with two stepchildren, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Library & Information Science, University of Illinois, 2010 Certificate, Genealogical Research, Boston University, 2018 Joined the Faculty in 2010. |
