Mrs. Rickett joined the Brookes faculty in 2022. She has an extensive background in academic, ecclesiastical, and non-profit counseling and ministry venues. She is an active member of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors holding ACBC certification. She also served as the Director of Women at the BMA Theological Seminary (Conway, AR) where she taught as a Professor Biblical Counseling.
She has been the Director of Development of a crisis pregnancy center (Glendale, CA), was on staff in the biblical counseling department at The Master’s University (Santa Clarita, CA), served in the Seminary Wives Discipleship Program of The Master’s Seminary (Los Angeles), and has counseled and ministered to women in various other venues and capacities. Janet was a contributing author to the book Women Counseling Women (Harvest House, 2011), where she wrote on the subject of ministering to non-Christian family members - the subject of her M.A.B.C. graduate project. Additionally, Janet has been an active and integral part of her husband’s various ministries including Church planting and serving as CFO of The MIKRA Research Laboratory.
